◼️横須賀から朝9時半のフェリーに乗って猿島へ行ってきた。店の開店前に行って帰って来られる冒険である。 冒険とはいっても「気分」だけれどね。それでもやっぱりアスファルトの上じゃないところってのはよい気分だ。この前ここへ来たのは40年くらい前だったかな。その頃と比べて日本はやたら綺麗になった。それがよいか悪いかはわからないけれど、いろいろなことが明白になったのはおもしろい。なんというか車のマイナー・チェンジに似ているな。そんなことを思った。空と海は青く風が強い。その中を勢いよくカモメが翔んだ。カモメも昔を懐かしんだりするのだろうか？ そんなことを想像した。そんな きょうの眺め .

◾️I took the 9:30am ferry from Yokosuka to Sarushima. It was an adventure that I could go to and come back from before my shop opens. Although I call it an adventure, I mean it was more of an “adventure-like” feeling. Still, it feels good to be somewhere that’s not on asphalt. I think it was about 46 years ago when I last came here. Japan has become so much cleaner since then. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, but it’s interesting that so many things have become so clear. It’s kind of like a MMC to a car. That’s what I thought. The sky and sea were blue, and the wind was strong. Seagulls flew vigorously through the air. I wonder if the seagulls were feeling nostalgic for the past? That’s what I imagined. Tokyo Bay is very blue today…………. Such is my view today
