◼️今日の東京は暴風雨だ。道ゆく人が傘を諦め、コートの襟を立てて頭に掌をかざしながら早足でゆく。この季節でこんなにどしゃどしゃと雨が降るなんて珍しいな。私はといえば合羽で完全防備である。でもお尻と膝のあたりはなんとなく湿る。こんな日は店内で外を眺めるのが楽しいな。暖かな珈琲と「It’s Too Late」あたりがいい。そんな きょうの眺め .

◼️ベンディックス純正のコースター・ブレーキ・アーム・バンドが入荷しました。コースター・アームをフレームに固定するための専用パーツ。今回はB2 タイプ。シュインやウエブコなんかにはなくてはならないものですね。なんだったらアルミ板の加工とかで作れてしまうようなパーツなのですが、こんな小さなものでも当時ものの純正とそうでないものは随分と雰囲気が異なってしまいます。やっぱり当時ものの純正品がかっこいいんだよなあ。

◼️新宿東口左方、しょんべん横丁 (現 – 思い出横丁) 。午前10時半。朝から呑んだくれる風情がいい。私はこれから店を開けるのでもちろんお酒なんぞに目をくれることもなく。その先にあるスタンド蕎麦屋さんで天玉うどんをいただいた。
ふと、気になって「おっちゃん、おれ、中学からここ来てんだけど、この店っていつからあったの？ 」と訊いたら「ちょうど50年やねー。えー、中学かー」。おっちゃんはすでに昔のおっちゃんではなく、私よりもだいぶ若い方なのであった。こちら側から見るおっちゃんは、昔も今もおっちゃんなので（自分のことは見えないからね）そこに起こる時間旅行的相違が不思議である。舌にピリッとくるほどに濃くて甘い味わいは、なんなく時を越えてわたしを10代へと帰らせるのだ。そんな きょうの眺め .

◾️Shoben Yokocho (currently Omoide Yokocho) is located to the left of Shinjuku East Exit. 10:30am. It’s interesting to see so many drunk people in the morning. I’m about to open a store, so I can’t drink alcohol. I ate Tentama Udon at a stand soba restaurant just down the road.
I was curious and said to the store staff, “I’ve been coming to this store since middle school. How long has this store been in existence?” “It’s been exactly 50 years. Huh, middle school?” The staff were no longer old men, but were much younger than me. The staff seen from this side are old men, both past and present (because they can’t see themselves), so the time-traveling differences that occur there are strange. The tangy soy sauce and slightly sweet taste somehow transcend time and transport me back to my teenage years…… Such is my view today

◼️いま。雪の降りっぷりがすごいことになっているよ。40年くらい前だったかに「春の雪（？）」なんて小説を読んだ気がするがあれは誰の、どんなお話だったろうか？ そう巡らすのだが上手くは思い出せない。何か淡い物語だったような気がするな。そして淡い春の雪は落ちては消えて心を濡らす。まだ夜開けきらぬ きょうの眺め .

◼️わりと久しぶりに自転車散歩していたら、河原で紅葉する漆の木を見つけた。カブれるやつ、あるいは漆器の上塗りに使うあれである。「今が紅葉なんてかなり季節外れなんじゃないの」なんて思ってみるのであるが、すぐ近くでは桃の花が咲いている。季節混成やね。でもその鮮やかな赤と緑のコントラストには心惹かれるものがある。そんなことを浮かべていたら、昔は食料品店へ行くと茹でてケチャップをまぶしたぐにゃぐにゃのスパゲッティー（ナポリタンね）なるものが、筒状の透明パッケージ入れられて売っていたなー。なんていうことを思い出しました。赤つながりの連鎖？？ 曇り空に赤が眩しい きょうの眺め .

◾️When I was taking a walk on my bicycle for the first time in a while, I came across a lacquer tree with its autumn leaves on the riverbank. It is a plant that Get a rash, or a tree whose sap is used to coat lacquerware. I thought to myself, “Isn’t it really out of season for the leaves to turn red now?” But peach blossoms are blooming nearby. It’s a mix of seasons. But there’s something about the contrast between the bright red and green that appeals to me. Too bright in the cloudy sky….. Such is my view today
