◾️Mongoose’s ‘78 nickel model is now in stock. The original graphics are starting to show some weather checking, but that’s a nice touch. This is a good frame with no deep scratches or dents.

◼️横須賀から朝9時半のフェリーに乗って猿島へ行ってきた。店の開店前に行って帰って来られる冒険である。 冒険とはいっても「気分」だけれどね。それでもやっぱりアスファルトの上じゃないところってのはよい気分だ。この前ここへ来たのは40年くらい前だったかな。その頃と比べて日本はやたら綺麗になった。それがよいか悪いかはわからないけれど、いろいろなことが明白になったのはおもしろい。なんというか車のマイナー・チェンジに似ているな。そんなことを思った。空と海は青く風が強い。その中を勢いよくカモメが翔んだ。カモメも昔を懐かしんだりするのだろうか？ そんなことを想像した。そんな きょうの眺め .

◾️I took the 9:30am ferry from Yokosuka to Sarushima. It was an adventure that I could go to and come back from before my shop opens. Although I call it an adventure, I mean it was more of an “adventure-like” feeling. Still, it feels good to be somewhere that’s not on asphalt. I think it was about 46 years ago when I last came here. Japan has become so much cleaner since then. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, but it’s interesting that so many things have become so clear. It’s kind of like a MMC to a car. That’s what I thought. The sky and sea were blue, and the wind was strong. Seagulls flew vigorously through the air. I wonder if the seagulls were feeling nostalgic for the past? That’s what I imagined. Tokyo Bay is very blue today…………. Such is my view today

◼️とっても久しぶりにセベのBMXハンドル・バーが入荷です。以前掲載した時にはCEBE/RED LINEのダブル・ネームのVバーとして紹介しましたが、今回のものはCEBE 単独でおなじくVバー。形も少し違います。世の中、Vバーってのはたいがいがダメダメでダサ〜い格好をしていますが、このセベも含め本家RED LINEのVバーはやはりいい形をしていますね。もちろん操縦製も上質なものです。幅約69センチ、高さ約21センチ。堂々としたプロポーションのVバーです。

◾️It’s been a while since we’ve had a CEBE BMX handlebar in stock. In the previous post, we introduced it as a CEBE/RED LINE double-named V-bar, but this one is just a CEBE V-bar. The shape is a little different, too. I think most V-bars are lame and tacky, but the original RED LINE V-bars, including this CEBE, are still well-shaped. Of course, the controls are also of high quality. It’s about 27 inches wide and 8.3 inches tall. It’s a V-bar with imposing proportions.

◾️DIA-COMPE type MX-1000 is now in stock. The color is chrome, which is not silver anodized but chrome applied to aluminum. This type often has the plating bulge and peel off over time, but this one is in good condition. Both front and rear are available.

◼️CWレーシングのCWバーが入荷です。特徴的な形状で多くのコピー品を産んだハンドル・バーですね。CWバーはいくつか大きさにバリエーションがあるのですが、これは大きめで幅が約76センチ、高さ約28センチのもの。裏面にはCWのデカールが貼られています。usedですがクロームの質感も荒れがなく、傷や凹みもなしのよい状態を保った一品です。

◾️CW Racing’s CW Bars are now in stock. This is a handlebar with a distinctive shape that has spawned many copies. CW Bars come in a variety of sizes, but this is a larger one, about 32 inches wide and 11 inches tall. There is a CW decal on the back. Although it is used, the chrome texture is smooth and there are no scratches or dents, making it in good condition.
